Mental health support
We offer long term support for people experiencing mental illness. Our groups and activities are fun, educational and engaging. We provide advocacy, document support and assist you when planning how to achieve your goals. The drop-in option allows for flexibility during periods of unwellness. We welcome partnerships with other support services. This has proven successful for many of our participants.

WOMEN’S SUPPORT NETWORK
Safe and friendly environment for women to engage in a variety of activities each week during school terms. We provide education opportunities based around the welfare sector, encouragement through wellness/craft activities and a time of social engagement. Hear about women’s support services in the community while spending time with an amazing group of female volunteers who will encourage you no matter what obstacles you are experiencing. Available Thursdays from 10am-12pm. Feel free to stay till 2pm for a time of friendship. Free services and activities. NOTE: we cannot accommodate children so please arrange for childminding prior to coming to the centre. We do have options for crisis support to work around this.

Domestic AND FAMILY Violence Support
We provide a safe space for people experiencing domestic and family violence. Case support, referrals and advocacy is available. Use of phone, computer and administrative support is also available. Our pantry is accessible for ongoing food relief based on the individual’s needs. Grocery, fuel and Opal card vouchers are available and material support subject to availability. Access our Women's Support Network (bookings essential) for respite and social engagement.

Men’s Support Group
Men, join us Friday mornings from 9.30-11.30 am to enjoy some social time with our team of male volunteers and BBQ breakfast with tea, coffee or juice. A male Chaplain is also available, bookings are essential.

Homelessness
We provide support for community members who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with:
· A space to rest
· Refreshments
· Access to the Crisis Food Pantry
· Blankets
· Referrals to other services who can assist with meals, accommodation, health services, 24 hour telephone services
· Use of office phone, internet and power to recharge portable devices. (During office hours 10 a.m. -2 p.m.) Wednesday, Thursday (women only) & Friday

FREE bREAD, bAKED gOODS AND fRUIT & vEGETABLES
We partner with Secondbite and Coles Camden where usable bread, baked foods, fruit and vegetables are distributed throughout the community free of charge. This program has seen many kilograms of food not go to waste by being donated to families and individuals most in need. Available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. (Fruit and veg subject to stock provided.)

Emergency Food Relief
This is our most utilised service and is provided by the generosity of our community and corporate Grant Funding. Our donors are individuals, schools, social groups and churches who donate stock to fill the pantry. Based on the size of the family needs, participants select their own grocery items. Supermarket food cards and fuel cards are available however subject to stock availability. Families undertake a registration process to identify immediate needs and identify other support available at a Turning Point or for referral. We also offer email orders for families without child minding options. Call the office for further information.

DROP IN SPACE
Are you experiencing isolation? You are welcome to drop in for a chat with friendly volunteers and community members over light refreshments. Access our programs and services free of charge. Our community computer is available for accessing emails, information if you are seeking accommodation, job search or relating to Domestic and Violence.

aDVOCACY
Finding it difficult to fill out and understand paperwork? Need to make a phone call where you would like a support person to sit with you? Volunteers are available to provide this service. Contact the office to make an appointment.

We can connect you to other specialist services where our support is limited. These could be issues relating to legal matters, accommodation, debt, rehabilitation, disability, mental health needs, addiction and Domestic and Family Violence.

CHAPLAINCY
Spiritual and mentorship support is available through our Chaplaincy service where we have the opportunity to partner with people during times of transition and stress. Our drop-in concept enables us to engage with and work alongside people in their time of need.
